'An Historic Event Remembered' tells of the Inauguration of The Green Pennant Awards by Prince Philip, hosted by Sir Denis Hamilton, Chairman of Times Newspapers, and Sir David Hunt, Chairman of the Board of Governors of The Commonwealth Institute.  It includes speeches by HRH, Sir Denis (an editor and journalist) and Sir David (a distinguished diplomat) with a commentary by Lionel Gregory, 'Greg' to his friends.  The entertainment is described with music provided by the band of the 2nd King Edward V11's Own Goorkhas, the band and choir of The Chase High School (Malvern) and individual Comex performers. Recipients of the Awards are mentioned with appropriate citations.
